Meet the Guy Who Almost Walked Away from Dog Training
Andrew
Founder/Creator of Dog Savvy

Hey, I’m Andrew—dog trainer, problem solver, and someone who almost quit dog training entirely.
For years, I did everything "by the book". Sit, stay, heel, down, wait… you name it -
What I now call "mainstream training"
Dogs were learning "all the right things"… but families were still struggling.
Many of the families we work with have dogs who already know some commands—but still don’t listen, can’t calm down, have manners like a drunk toddler, and need constant supervision.
That’s when I realized: "Commands" and "obedience" don’t fix those things.
In fact, I've learned that most families don’t even care if their dog can sit, shake, and go into a ‘down'...
They just want them to:
🎯 listen when they say no
🎯 come back when called
🎯 walk on leash without frustrating moments
🎯 be polite around friends and family—
without turning them into a robot dog and losing their personality.
So I built a step-by-step system that gets results (and relief!) fast.
It’s not about more commands, complicated techniques, or training that requires superhuman-level consistency.
It’s about doing LESS—but in a way that actually works.
It’s about thinking differently and only putting effort into what I call "the biggest needle-movers"…
so you know you're doing it right and start seeing results you can actually feel in days—not weeks or months.(’Cause let’s be real… ain’t nobody got time for fluff!)
So if you want a dog who’s actually a joy to live with (and gets tons of compliments😉), I’d love to show you how.
Cheers,
Andrew
P.S. - If you’ve read this far, you’re probably our kind of people—and we’d love to hear about your dog! (I promise we don’t bite.)

They're so smart and friendly, but.....
- You might be feeling frustrated with constant jumping and bursts of energy - you just wish they'd settle when you need it.
- It might be embarrassing when friends and family come over because of their behavior - you just want to relax and enjoy their company without the chaos.
- Walks aren't all that fun with the pulling, barking or just not paying attention - you just wish your walks were more pleasant where you're both in sync.
